RCM simulations with coarse resolution
Find out about regional climate simulations in different spatial resolution.
Regional model data from REMO 0.44°
- Regional climate model runs have been performed with the regional model REMO in 0.44° horizontal resolution.
- The model domain covers about the same west european region as the CLM runs, with the Mediterranean sea and the BALTEX area being fully included.
- For the model and experiment description please refer to the REMO homepage.
Planned:
- It has been agreed to define a data stream on a regular grid similar to CLM-data stream 3 for the high resolution runs.
- The spatial resolution on the regular grid will be 0.5°.
- For the transformation between the rotated and regular grid, the CDO routines will be used.
- The output data format is netCDF. To transform the REMO data into netCDF, the CDO routines will be used.
- The variable list for this data is in highest accordance to the variable list of the CLM- output with high resolution in data stream 3.
- An output list will be available as pdf here: REMO_pdf.
- The data will be available via the CERA data base as time series .
