CLM data release (community runs)
- CLM regional climate simulations (community runs): data is released in December 2008 for all interested user groups (open access).
- To get your data base account, send a mail to data(at)dkrz.de
- The quality control and tests of the data are finished.
- Find a list of model parameters here:
clm parameter weblist. - All users are expected to announce any possible problems to sga(at)dkrz.de

Find here some general useful hints ( german, english) on using climate model data (the terms-of-use document have not to be signed).
Access to the Different CLM User Groups (modellers only)
Please note:
The CLM data in data stream 2 and data stream 3 (provided in a user friendly way via CERA data base) is free for everybody interested in it (no user groups are needed). Please contact data'at'dkrz.de for a data base account.
The following user groups are needed only to access the "data stream 0 data" (=original model output) , which is NOT open access and NOT distributed via the CERA data base.
The first group (clmgroup) refers to the access to the output data of data stream 0 (original model output data), the other groups (clmcom, ecrana, ik0555) are needed by users who want to run the CLM model themselves and who need model input data.

The group is administered by M&D/SGA.

The group is open also for non CLM-Community members.
NB! Access to output data of data stream 2 and 3 is unrestricted. These data are available from the CERA database.
clmcom
The group is open only for CLM-Community members.
The group is administered by Burkhardt Rockel.

ecrana: The ECMWF Analysis Projects (ERA40, ERA Interim...)
The group is administered by M&D.

As stated on http://www.clm-community.eu/index.php?menuid=42, I am personally a member of the CLM-Community and agree to use the ERA data only for purposes specified in the CLM-Community agreement (esp.Paragraph 3) for the COSMO-CLM model system. I will not use the data for any commercial purpose and will not forward them.

ik0555: DKRZ Projekt 555 "CMIP5 Klimasimulationen und deren Regionalisierung"
